Code of Conduct
In accordance with the provisions of the Localism Act 2011, at its meeting of Friday 1st June 2012 Hutton Cranswick Parish Council resolved to adopt a new Code of Conduct which sets out the behaviour expected of members of the council.
This Code of Conduct will apply to members/co-opted members of Hutton Cranswick Parish Council when acting as such from 1st July 2012.
The Code will be slightly revised to take into account the subsequent publication of Regulations by the Secretary of State for the Department for Communities and Local Government.
Community Emergency Plan
In the event of an emergency of any sort it is a well recognised fact that the first response is often unfortunately disorganised.
This document sets out the Council's Emergency Planning process which would be involked in the event of an emergency being declared. The document identifies:
- When and how the plan would be activated;
- Initial actions to be taken;
- Persons responsible for enacting the plan;
- Community resources available;
- Other useful information required in the event of an emergency.
The Council is responsible in law for ensuring that it's financial management is adequate and effective and that the Council has a sound system of financial control.
These Financial Regulations govern the conduct of financial management by the Council.
